  • I record from my home studio in Berlin - see below for specs and gear list. Book me from anywhere in the world, and I will deliver clean, high quality recordings, ready to drop straight into your session. No need for studios, engineers, or editing. It’s a one-stop shop.

    If you’ve written parts, I can work from sheetmusic, MIDI or audio.

    Alternatively, I can do the arrangements for you, after a consultation on what you’re after. Many clients, especially independent musicians, freelance composers, or anyone on a limited budget, find this to be a huge time-saver and very cost effective.

    WORKFLOW:

    First contact - You send through the material with a short brief, I get back to you with availability and a quote. Contact me now.

    Consultation session - If you want me to do the arrangement, we start with a video or voice call to talk through the project. We touch on instrumentation, style, mood and references, before moving into a more detailed discussion of each individual track (if multiple). It is important that I get a very clear and detailed picture of what you’re after before I start working, to ensure the best possible result and avoid the necessity for revisions.

    If you’ve prepared the parts yourself, we can do a call, or a written brief with sheetmusic/MIDI/audio will suffice.

    Files - You send through all relevant session files, plus any sheetmusic/MIDI/audio (where applicable), and links to references (where applicable).

    Session - I record and edit my parts

    Delivery - I deliver final files to you in WAV/AIFF; please specify 48 or 44.1 khz

    Revisions - If you need revisions recorded, we will need to book an additional session. In all cases, it’s best for everyone if we can get it right the first time.

    For parts that are already composed, or improvised solos, I would usually record 2-3 take options to cover all bases. A well-written briefing or consultation call, as well as detailed sheetmusic/MIDI/audio, will always yield the best result.

    If I have composed the arrangement, and it’s not quite hitting the mark, we can discuss the cost of revisions together - I am very reasonable on pricing and am not happy until you’re happy. In all honesty, I’ve almost never had to do revisions! This is why I insist on a thorough consultation at the beginning of the process, which makes for a smooth and enjoyable collaboration.
