YOUKA SNELL

My love affair with the shamisen (3-stringed Japanese banjo) began in 2015, when my Grandmother helped me purchase my first instrument in Osaka.

I am currently a Tsugaru shamisen student of Hibiki Ichikawa, and lead my band Mitsune, with whom I tour regularly around Europe.
